Ronald M. Fields, Jr., CPA
Ron is a partner with Crisp Hughes Evans, providing the firm's Upstate Practice Unit clients with audit, tax, and consulting services.
Ron graduated cum laude from Wofford College in 1980 with a B.A. degree in Accounting. He began his career with Ernst and Whinney in Spartanburg. He purchased the Spartanburg firm of Waters and Waters CPAs, P.A. in April 1986, forming Fields and Gosnell where he practiced until 1994. From that year until 1998, Ron was a partner with the Fields and Joyner CPA Firm, which merged with Crisp Hughes Evans.
Ron is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, and he is a Board member of the South Carolina Association of CPAs. For the community, he participates on the Board of Trustees for the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, the Advisory Board of American Federal Bank, and he serves as treasurer for the Piedmont Club of Spartanburg. He is past president of Spartanburg Boys' Home and the Foothills Chapter of the South Carolina Association of CPAs.
